Embroidery is flexible in terms of file formats acceptable for submission, please use the chart above as a guide. Even though digitizing can be done using "low res" file types like jpg's, gif's and bmp's Adobe Illustrator vector files will produce a much cleaner digitized file and in turn a much higher quality finished product.

Embroidery FAQ's

How is embroidery priced?

Embroidery pricing is based on the number of stitches needed to sew a design, not the number of colors. Email the art to your account management team and they will provide an estimate.

How are stitch counts estimated?

Estimations are made by viewing the design at size, and taking the fabric type into consideration, as each fabric sews differently. For example, a stitch count on a fleece garment will most likely differ from a stitch count of the same logo on a pique garment. Pricing is not final until the digitizing has been completed.

How small can the letters be for my logo?

Lower case lettering must be a minimum of 1/4" tall. Consistent production on lettering smaller than 1/4" cannot be guaranteed. It is useful to print a hard copy of the logo and check the lettering height with a ruler.
